Role Responsibilities:

The core responsibility of this role is to own the integration of DFS messaging, value propositions, and sales solutions within the Dell Technologies Consumer and DFS Recharge business . This role, in coordination with Dell Consumer marketing and the DFS RECHARGE team, will manage all facets of the go-to-market strategy including making budget recommendations for pricing & promotions, marcom roadmap & promotion planning, and the development of campaign themes designed to drive performance of new & existing programs.

  • Fully integrate with the key marketing stakeholders within Dell Consumer marketing and the marketing team on each RECHARGE merchant partner
  • Become an active (extended) member of those marketing teams, acting as the liaison between the them and DFS
  • Own the Dell Preferred Account (DPA) marketing strategy and the development & execution of the promotional roadmap required to meet & exceed the master sales plan. Responsible for leveraging resources on other teams to plan, promote, and report on demand gen initiatives
  • Own the creation of the overall marketing message to internal & external customers and ensure that the message is delivered through all relevant go-to-market vehicles
  • Leverage DFS reporting & analytics resources to monitor compliance & performance of all promotional campaigns. Responsible for presenting business cases as well as post mortems for marketing campaigns and promotional initiatives
  • Leverage the DFS marketing operations team to execute all campaigns and promotions - ensure that procedures are followed, testing and promotional validations occur, and to respond to problems quickly and efficiently
  • Remain current on competitive landscape: The service offerings, financial promotions & products from Dell / DFS competitors. Communicate competitive gaps or advantages as part of a consistent competitive evaluation
  • Gather, analyse, and leverage customer input from various sources (e.g., customer focus groups) in support of creating effective demand generation and originations growth
  • Support the creation of sales contests/spiffs to motivate the sales force behind key marketing campaigns. Owns the marketing & sales interlock planning process
  • Where appropriate, develop educational material designed to support the launch of products or promotions at select merchant partners

Role Requirements:

  • Executive presence, influencing skills and advanced communication skills
  • Demonstrate strategic thinking, creative thinking, and marketing thought leadership
  • Ability to work with teams in a complex matrix environment, with remote teams, and to cope with change and ambiguity in a rapidly moving competitive environment
  • Knowledge of customer data segmentation, sales play process, and experience with marketing organizations and methods of operation
  • 10+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work
  • Great team worker and positive attitude.

Preferences:

  • Advanced understanding of revolving credit payment solutions
  • Educated to a degree level in Marketing or similar discipline
