The Senior Manager, Customer Logistics is responsible for direct supervision and leadership for a diverse team of Senior Analysts and Analysts located in Minneapolis, MN with responsibility for Order Management, Collaborative Forecasting Planning and Replenishment (CPFR), and Logistic Efficiency Improvement activities.
This individual will collaborate with internal partners and the customer to improve supply chain efficiencies and drive service cost and network flow improvements.
This individual will also partner with the J&J Sales team to improve the Business Planning Cycle and support growth of top line sales through the implementation of supply chain strategies, projects and initiatives.
The Senior Manager will have end-to-end accountability through either direct or indirect ownership across multiple GBU franchises. They will support all sales efforts to drive collaborative topline and forecast attainment in excess of $700MM per year. They will achieve extensive customer penetration and relationship building across various levels of management and in the functional areas of replenishment, merchandising, logistics, accounts payable, EDI, and sales to develop customer specific improvement strategies and tactics.
The Sr Manager, Retail Customer Logistics is accountable to improving the Customer Experience & will provide leadership and support to a diverse team of supply chain professionals in managing the following: Driving and supporting of joint value creation initiatives, key forecasting and demand planning processes in conjunction with Customer Development team, the customer and the Integrated Demand Planning process, revenue cycle efficiencies and end-to-end support of an optimal order cycle management.
This individual will also identify synergies across their businesses while developing a strategic roadmap in alignment with their Cross-Functional Teams.
The Sr Manager, Retail Customer Logistics owns the Supply Chain customer relationship and penetration strategy at Target. They will drive collaborative efforts to optimize efficiencies, enhance service as well as to ensure our end customer is enabled to purchase our product every day. The Sr Manager is responsible for assessing the customer’s supply chain processes and practices to determine the appropriate analytical tools and solutions that will drive decisions and best in class results.
The position will need to be comfortable working cross functionally and building a regional strategy. A proven ability to nurture strong and productive relationships at the Analyst, Manager, Director and Vice-President level at retail customers is necessary.
This Sr Manager will also be responsible for industry benchmarking and in championing insights back into the organization.
