What you’ll be doing...

We help the biggest names in business do business and billing them correctly is a vital part of the customer experience. You’ll ensure that our domestic e-cloud customers are invoiced correctly and in compliance with their contractual commitments. When customers have questions about their bills, you will collaborate across functions to resolve them. Your role is critical in ensuring that our customers pay their invoices in a timely manner and find it easy to do business with us.

  • Supporting monthly invoice generation including gathering billing data, calculating and posting charges, and creating and distributing invoices.
  • Reviewing and researching data to identify and resolve errors and billing variances.
  • Processing customer requests for credits and monitoring contractual commitments.
  • Collaborating with other functional areas to create non-standard billing solutions.
  • Coordinating rating calculations and adjustments and providing written confirmation of resolution.
  • Producing standard and non-standard reports for customers and account teams.

This function focuses on the detailed support of manual and non-standard contract terms for predominately Wholesale customers. This individual must be detail oriented and have experience interpreting and supporting contract terms. They must also be highly self-motivated and operate independently as well as possess the ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks.

  • Reviews data and analysis resulting in adjustments, ensuring accuracy and provides first level approval
  • Reviews large monthly manual billing file and processes it for management approval
  • Completes monthly manual billing and adjustments for ILEC customers. Researches and provides answers as issues arise.
  • Responsible for monthly reporting and providing backup for multiple processes
  • Writes and updates process procedures
  • Researches issues and requests received from other groups
  • Responsible for meeting target dates

What we’re looking for...

You are a well-organized person who enjoys working independently and managing competing priorities efficiently to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. You’ll have strong analytical and creative problem solving skills, but you’ll also have a customer service orientation and be a great communicator who can interact well with a diverse range of people.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Three or more years of relevant work experience.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
  • Experience in using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, Outlook)
  • Experience in the communications industry with an understanding of billing systems, products and services.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to work with little supervision and use good judgment
  • Must be detail oriented, organized, with have strong time management skills
  • Must be able to look at an issue from more than one view point
  • Ability to drive issues with other groups through to resolution
  • Ability to present ideas and complex information effectively to individuals or groups with minimal preparation time.
  • Must be able to identify and escalate potential issues appropriately with proactive preparation of contingency plans.
  • Ability to interact with multiple levels of management, as necessary.
  • Results oriented, strong sense of urgency, proactive and flexible.
  • Experience in contract review and understanding.
  • Ability to read and understand invoices.
