The Security & Fire Protection Senior Multi-Ops Specialist manages or works in multiple disciplines which may include industrial security operations, fire protection operations, uniformed security operations, fire protection engineering, investigations, access administration, emergency preparedness, automated-information security systems, education and training and special projects. Oversees design, development and implementation of organization policies, programs, processes and procedures for the purpose of safeguarding people, property, information and the environment while ensuring compliance with applicable government and company security and fire regulations. Guides the development of organization policies and strategies. Consults, advises, instructs and applies technical expertise to management and cross-functional teams in strategic, tactical, operational and business planning activities. Develops and maintains operating policies and procedures and manages ongoing organizational processes pertinent to the security and fire protection charter. Interfaces with the appropriate government agencies, company management and employees, customers, vendors and suppliers on security and fire protection related issues. The Boeing Company at the Houston site is looking for a seasoned security specialist with a background in Industrial Security and Physical Security to join the Security & Fire Protection organization. This position will function as the Facility Security Officer for the Houston location as well as the lead physical security specialist for the site.
The Facility Security Officer will execute Internal Security Controls through performance of compliance assessment reviews and self inspections to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/requirements.
Responsibilities Include:
The physical security specialist will ensure physical security standards are maintained and continuously evaluated through the Site Security Annual Risk Assessment (SSARA) program. Consults with and advises management and functional and cross-functional teams regarding company information protection planning, development and improvement activities to protect company people, property, information and interests. Resolves information protection problems and implements improvement processes that require integration across functions to enhance operations. Provides assistance and consultation to identify, mitigate the impact of, or employ company, industry or government regulations or trends that may affect company information protection. Coordinates and conducts independent reviews, assessments and analysis of information protection actions and products for program sustainability. Consults with and advises management and functional and cross-functional teams regarding company risk management planning, development and improvement activities to protect company people, property, information and interests. Resolves risk management problems and implements improvement processes that require integration across functions to enhance operations. Provides assistance and consultation to identify, mitigate the impact of, or employ company, industry or government regulations or trends that may affect company risk management. Coordinates and conducts independent reviews, assessments and analysis of risk management actions and products for program sustainability.
