Job Description

Wayfair Professional is one of the fastest growing areas of one of the fastest growing companies – we’re the rocket on top of the rocket. The question is how fast and how high we can go, and how you can help. We are looking for an energetic, analytical, and curious analyst to own growing our paid search efforts for the Wayfair Professional program. You’ll have ownership over a multi-million dollar budget and revenue growth. Qualified candidates will be excited by quantitative and qualitative problems, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

This is a fantastic opportunity for quantitative individuals to jump-start or accelerate their career with full, “A-Z” ownership of one of our most important marketing channels through a mix of analysis, strategy-setting, experimentation and implementation to drive customer growth and loyalty.

What you’ll do:

  • Use search marketing tools and tactics, via a variety of vendors including Google and Bing, to help businesses find the products they are looking for and purchase them on our site.
  • Manage and optimize search advertising spend, account structure, targeting, customer journey, and measurement to acquire new business customers while meeting our return on investment goals.
  • Leverage cross-functional partnerships alongside your own analyses and tests to optimize your channel’s financial performance.
  • Work with partners throughout the company, and ensure we’re placing bets on the most impactful areas for growth.

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; preferably in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics or other similar concentrations.
  • Experience analyzing data using Excel, SQL, R, and other platforms is a plus (you don’t need to be an expert in all of those but should be excited about learning them)
  • Experience working in a quantitative-driven field such as consulting, finance, or investment banking is a plus
  • Clear communication and ability to articulate ideas and analyses to peers and leaders at all levels
