We’re looking for a Senior Manager, Marketing to join Team Snapchat!
In this role, you’ll partner with the Marketing and Sales teams from our global offices (New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Detroit, Dallas, San Francisco, Seattle, Atlanta, and International markets) to develop and execute internal and external programs that leverage our own platform and products to educate and inspire our clients through world-class business marketing.
Working from our New York office, you’ll lead vertical specific initiatives for the CPG business in North America while overseeing marketing plans for the Government, Health, Telco, and Finance verticals. We are looking for an experienced marketing leader and self-starter who has demonstrated success dealing with ambiguity, managing cross-functional teams, and problem-solving leadership with limited oversight . This position reports to the Global Head of Vertical Marketing.
What you’ll do:
- Develop a deep understanding of the CPG , Government, Health, Telco, and Finance industries to develop and execute marketing programs that bring to life Snapchat’s advertising solutions across these verticals
- Build a Vertical Marketing practice to align with business and revenue goals. Develop Playbooks, Narratives, Integrated Marketing Plans, Thought Leadership, Case Studies per vertical, and partner with International Marketing Team to scale globally.
- Manage a small team of marketers
- Measure the effectiveness of marketing activities and the ROI of its expenditures
- Develop best-in-class marketing tools, resources and collateral that supports the Sales teams’ always-on education needs. Develop executive onboarding program, Product Tutorials, etc.
- Lead creation of presentations, videos and marketing collateral that demonstrate the value of Snapchat to clients. Partner with Design, Creative, and external vendors to guide execution.
- Increase advertiser consideration of Snapchat by developing content for key industry events, and content for Snap-hosted large scale events and smaller scale roadshows, at a high frequency.
- Work with cross-functional marketing teams (International Marketing, Sales, Research and Insights, Comms, Creative Strategy, Design Strategy, Product and Legal) to optimize our client efforts
Minimum Qualifications:
- 8+ years of relevant marketing experience developing strategy, positioning and messaging for a brand or product in an advertising agency or marketing organization
- 5+ years experience with digital media, using advertising data to craft media strategy
Preferred Qualifications:
- Subject matter expertise in the CPG industry and preferably also in one or more of these verticals: Health, Government, Finance, and/or Telco industries
- A track record of success in domestic or international marketing roles, B2B or B2C, building full-funnel advertising campaigns
- A superb track record for project and program management, cross-functional leadership, and team management
- Storyteller with experience translating insights, product information and data into client-facing marketing presentations that demonstrate client value
- Experience guiding creative production of campaigns, printed collateral, presentations, websites, videos, and other marketing materials
- Proven experience as a leader of change, achieving operational excellence by introducing performance measures, processes and systems
- Ability to initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance, and to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Experience thinking creatively, communicating and presenting to large groups, and a deep proficiency in brand building
- Travel required for events as needed
