Position Summary:

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Marketing Manager will join the US Regional Marketing team and will be responsible for developing and managing tactics, promotional activities and strategies for the Interbody portfolio to drive growth. This position involves extensive interaction with the sales organization, developing and executing programs to stimulate demand, providing field support, and engaging in customer events. The Marketing Manager will participate in the planning and execution of US product launches including pre-launch activities and post-launch follow-up and support. In addition, this position involves working with cross-functional teams, including Sales Training, Professional Education, Operations, Clinical, and Regulatory within the Spine organizations to drive regional growth.

The principal duties and responsibilities for the US Spine Marketing Manager include, but are not limited to:

  • Participate effectively as team player with high quality standards. Display knowledge and expertise of sound management practices.
  • Help drive the commercialization of the Interbody platform by creating necessary sales and marketing collateral, participating in sales training, developing pricing strategies, and executing on professional education strategies.
  • Effectively develop, lead, and executes business plans to meet current and future needs.
  • Demonstrate effective planning and prioritization skills and establishes self as expert and leader for product category and job responsibilities.
  • Critically examine market dynamics to support strategic and tactical marketing plans with customer interaction.
  • Collaborate with the sales training group to organize and conduct appropriate sales force training.
  • Ensure collaboration franchise marketing and operations to support inventory needs, forecasting models, product positioning, & surgeon professional education.
  • Develop sustainable relationships with Worldwide KOL's, Sales, Marketing, and Regional leadership.
  • Develop and execute pricing strategy to hold price on premium brands and leverage value brands.

Qualifications
  • A minimum of a BS/BA degree is required. MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
  • Candidate must have 4+ years total progressive business experience in any of the following areas: Marketing, Medical Device Product Development R&D, Medical Device Sales, or a combination of sales and Marketing is required with a proven track record of success, and strong execution capability.
  • A minimum of 2 years of healthcare experience is required.
  • Medical device experience is preferred.
  • Key performance areas include communication skills, product management, analytical skills, successful team player and ability to influence others.
  • Since this role involves customer interaction, we place a premium on the candidate with good communication skills, presentation ability, and a strong presence.
  • A scientific/technical background is a plus, but not required.
  • Should have a track record of career advancement and exceeding expectations.

This position will be located in Raynham, MA and must travel up to 40% including weekends.
