Location: Newtown Square, PA
Purpose and Objective:
SAP America, Inc. seeks a Business Support Manager at our Newtown Square, PA location to provide project and program portfolio Management.
Expectations and Tasks:
Lead internal Project and Program Management for large, complex projects and programs. Accountable for budget, timeline, quality and execution. Report vision and architecture by developing reporting standardization and driving standardization and optimization of reporting processes. Understand key metrics and requirements of the business and serve as a decision partner. Cooperate with other departments and lead assigned project teams. Provide pro-active and value added Services to our Customers to steer their business. Oversee operations teams. Share SAP Best Practices. Support knowledge sharing initiatives, including Focus Groups, FSP Moderators, Mentoring, and Education. Liaise with Global Services, HR, Corp Finance, and Corp Communications. Provide thought leadership regarding consultant and management excellence initiatives. Provide transformation and change management, skills transformation, and enablement. Provide delivery optimization support and ongoing operational excellence for our delivery organization, including change management activities, providing meaningful metrics and analysis, and optimizing related processes. Coordinate with Regional Process Owners (RM Heads) and oversee the consolidation and prioritization of RM@FS development requests from all regions. 10% travel required.
Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field of study and 7 years of experience is required. The company will also accept a Master's degree and 5 years of experience. The company will accept pre-bachelor's degree experience.
Work Experience:
Experience must involve 5 years in the following: software development services organizations; business processes in software development services organizations; development services offerings, including OnPremise and Cloud; methodology for development services projects; finance and accounting, including Revenue Recognition, IFRS15, and controlling, including project forecasting activities; leading virtual and global teams; SAP FI/CO; SAP BW; business development related to software and cloud product commercialization strategies, such as pricing definitions, return on investment calculations, sourcing strategies, and GTM strategies for niche markets; software sales processes; and product development methodology, including Technical Software Delivery processes. 10% travel required.
