In this role you will hold responsibility across selected key accounts and be accountable for creating insights for clients, meeting revenue targets and adding value for your clients through training and client support.

This role is an essential thought partner to clients – helping solve client business issues, and wherever possible creating high impact ideas and strategies from across all of Nielsen.

About Your Role:
As a Senior Account Executive, Publishers with the BookScan team, you will be building strong client relationship and driving revenue opportunities. Your roles and responsibilities includes:

• Be accountable to the overall responsibility for selected publisher accounts using the Nielsen BookScan service in Australia
• Represent Nielsen Book in key commercial relationships, including value-add services for clients such as conducting on-site workshops, identifying needs based on client’s strategic focus, and delivering presentations
• Initiating new business contacts through sales pipeline and developing new sales leads
• Lead key account relationship and provide high level of satisfaction service supports to existing clients (in terms of products, services, integrated solutions, data quality, accuracy and training needs)
• Developing insights for clients through the interpretation of data and bespoke reports

Skills and Experience:

• Degree qualified in marketing or business or relevant industry experience
• At least 3 years of sales experience including consultative engagement
• Experience in the book publishing industry ideal / preferred
• Able to analyse and integrate various data sources with market and industry knowledge and provide insightful responses to client queries
• A strong team player and contributor with attention to detail
• Strong communication skills with a poise and confidence to interact with clients at various levels
• Ability to manage multiple, time-sensitive projects and prioritise against multiple client demands
• Strong MS Office and data visualisation skills
