Your Role at Ogilvy

The Role:

The role of Assistant Producer will require a mixture of skills including, but not limited to:

  • Initiative, Enthusiasm and Ambition
  • Basic knowledge and keen interest across relevant fields (Including Film Production, Post Production, Photography & Advertising)
  • A passion for what you do
  • Flexibillity in working hours

Key Responsibilities (NB – full training to be given):

  • Act as an assistant to Producers across all aspect of Productions.
  • Help with organizing and minuting meetings.
  • Understanding of basic timing plans.
  • Ability to help pull together meeting decks etc.
  • Managing talent for shoots inc help with contracts, and flights/ taxis/hotels as appropriate.
  • Managing travel for Creatves and Producers to shoots – flights/taxis/hotels as appropriate.
  • Visa applications/paperwork as appropriate.
  • Working with Business Affairs to manage Child Licences when needed.
  • Voice over casting.
  • Booking and managing post production timings.
  • Setting up job and project numbers, dealing with suppliers, liaising with TV Admin, Accounts Department and Account Teams, ensuring all administration of productions comply with O&M systems.
  • Setting up new suppliers and new clients.
  • Issuing PO’s and ensure invoices are paid on time.
  • Managing diaries of key project personnel and ensuring all parties are aware of current status on all projects.
  • ‘On the Ground’ point of contact/key central liaison for all projects.
  • Attending key meetings when required.
  • Learning and acquiring the skills to ultimately become a Producer

Ogilvy Values

Desirable Experience:

  • Preferably one year experience in a full time job, ideally in production related industry - although this is not a necessity.
  • Excellent computer skills. A good understanding of Word, Excel, Photoshop & PowerPoint.
  • Some experience of Content & Commercial Production from either a Production Company or Post Production perspective.
  • Good ‘hospitality’ skills to ensure visiting clients are looked after and treated appropriately.
  • Excellent listener and excellent learning.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Patient, tactful and a strong ability to learn and listen before proferring opinions and solutions.
  • To always be discreet and respectful.
  • To have a sense of humour. You will need it here...
