Infrastructure Support Administrator - Linux

As a Linux system administrator in the team, you will be responsible for acting as primarily contact point for UNIX infrastructure related support/development activities for production environment with a focus on planning and performing scheduled hygiene and maintenance of the infrastructure.

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

• Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science or equivalent related field with a minimum of 9+ years of systems engineering experience.
• High level of proficiency in Linux operating systems
• Hands On knowledge in scripting through Shell /Python/Perl
  
• Familiarity with SAN, NAS, TCP/IP, DNS is highly desirable
• Experience with systems monitoring with products like HP SIM/ILO, VMware Virtual Center, Tivoli, Dell iDRAC, etc
• Experience in project work, incident management and resolution, and change management
• Analyzing advanced technical problems and creating solutions to solve those issues using automation.
• Solving technical issues by collaborating and contributing ideas with the engineering, development, and operations teams
• Developing processes to maintain operational support and development documentation
• Planning and performing scheduled hygiene and maintenance of the infrastructure
• Detailed oriented with excellent troubleshooting skills
• Capable of working effectively within a distributed global team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
