Job Description

Description:·Perform integrated logistics duties and responsibilities associated with daily warehouse operations, including but not limited to, receiving incoming material in inventory and purchasing software, hand delivery to customer site in Jacksonville, shipment of items to internal and external customers, and general warehousing support. Compile records with quantity, cost, and type of material received, in stock, or issued.
·Verify material received to determine irregularities in order and inspects articles and rejects defective ones.
·Ability to operate various material handling equipment in accordance with safety requirements and procedures.
·Ability to safely move material of various sizes and weights throughout the warehouse and onto/off of trucks. Materials may include industrial material, crates, furniture, electronics, HAZMAT, lumber, vehicles, 55-gallon drums, and other military items.
·Ability to read and understand manifests and other transportation documents.
·Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
·Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
·Resolve warehouse and inventory management discrepancies and identify warehouse technical problems.
·Coordinate and perform physical warehouse
inventories to resolve bar code, location and quantity issues.
·Exercise personal judgment and discretion with regard to inventory allocation and shipment destinations.
·Assist in the resolution of contract related delivery criteria issues.
·Ensure the execution and continuous improvement of logistics processes.
·Interface professionally with senior customer management, prospective customers, vendors and warehouse personnel.
·Organized self-starter requiring minimal supervision
Basic Qualifications:
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
·Must be a team player in a customer-oriented environment.
·Technical skills to include Microsoft Windows applications/products.
·Must be capable of learning and performing using respective program specific Supply Chain Management (SCM) software.
·Willingness to work alternate non-standard/overtime hours as required.
·Willingness to provide on-call service.
·Candidate must be able to obtain & maintain a secret security clearance.
Desired Skills:
·Experience in warehouse operations including receiving, shipping, and freight/transportation.
·Demonstrated ability to interface directly with multiple customers and associated contractors
·Possess practical knowledge of logistics strategies including supply chain activities.
·Possess working knowledge of query and report writing skills.
·Forklift certified.
·Ability to prepare and ship material, including HAZMAT, internationally. HAZMAT shipper certification (IATA, DOT, IMDG).
·Willing to work overtime as required.
·Knowledge of LCS program processes.
·Proven knowledge of warehouse processing, including inventory management, P2P procurement system, and Maximo inventory management system.
·Knowledge of requisition processing, kitting, shipping, and receiving
