Job Description
The combined Griffin, HARM and Maverick program is seeking an International Programs and Growth Manager. This position will report to the Program Director and will lead international and strategic business growth of the Maverick, HARM, AND Griffin Portfolio.
In this role, the program manager will capture and execute international business in support of the program’s annual operating plan and long-term plans. Additionally, this position will support all capture pursuits to include domestic and international new business captures and proposals. This role will primarily focus on efforts on the Maverick program with the intent of growing combined Griffin, HARM and Maverick missile portfolio.
Key duties include:Develop, coordinate, and execute Maverick growth strategy, Maverick long-range financial outlook and new business capture. Manage new business investment budgets including domestic and international selling accounts and Independent Research and Development projects. Monitor and support the Raytheon IPDS Gate Review process for domestic and international programs. Coordinate with the Production Program Manager to execute international direct commercial sales contracts. Lead all international integration and sustainment activities. Host and support customer meetings and visits. Work with various organizations to perform trade studies and analysis to support development of a growth roadmap. Collaborate with customers and Raytheon leaders to obtain concurrence on vision, goals, requirements, opportunities, and roadmap.
REQUIRED SKILLS:- At least 12 years of progressive program manager experience in development, and/or capture management.
- Demonstrated experience strategically planning, leading and executing long-range goals across a lean organization.
- Experience in international business capture including familiarity with Foreign Military Sales and Direct Commercial Sales.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with customer and senior executives.
- Demonstrated ability to balance competing priorities and still deliver on-time work products.
- Sound judgment and strong decision-making skills. Demonstrated experience working with a wide variety of people from varied backgrounds and cultures.
- Demonstrated understanding and proficient use of program management tools such as EVMS, IMP/IMS, Risk Opportunity Management or similar business processes.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of tools. Raytheon Program Management Level 4 Certification or industry equivalent.
- Existing Secret with ability to obtain additional clearances as required from the DoD.
DESIRED SKILLS:- Proven team builder with demonstrated strong leadership, coordination, and people/interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively lead and synchronize cross-functional team efforts.
- Demonstrated experience effectively communicating with military customers from all the services.
- Excellent record of progressively more responsible leadership roles.
- Strong technical skills to support detailed customer discussions on the program’s missile portfolio
- Experience interfacing with the DoD customer base and a solid understanding of the DoD requirements process and budgeting cycle.
- Working knowledge of business development, Congressional processes and policies governing of import/export of hardware and technical data.
- Customer relationship focus—establishes and maintains highly effective internal and external relationships through personal influences.
- Demonstrated experience closing business deals and bringing new business over the goal line.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree; preferably in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) or the equivalent combination of 10 years of technical training and experience.
DESIRED EDUCATION:Post-graduate degree in Business, Engineering, Science or Mathematics. Earned Value Management certification.
PREFERRED PM CERTIFICATION LEVEL: Raytheon PM Certification Level 4 (or equivalent)
