Team Overview:

Client Technical Services (CTS) is part of the Aladdin Product Group Platform Services function and plays an essential role in integrating cross functional teams in support of Aladdin, providing technical engagement for Aladdin clients, leading the technical implementation of Aladdin at new clients and acting as the internal liaison for Aladdin Client Engagement (https://www.blackrock.com/aladdin/home). Additionally, CTS owns critical governance functions such as Change Management, as well as leading platform wide strategic initiatives through its Project Management function.

CTS is a fast-paced team operating in a dynamic environment and provides the right individual with challenging work and an opportunity to lead cross functional groups in achieving a wide variety of objectives.

The Role:

We are looking for an experienced outcome oriented Technical Program manager to lead, own and deliver high quality outcome driven results of large-scale, global, strategic technical programs. The role partners across product and platform management teams to validate business and systems requirements, leads and coordinates all aspects of design and implementation efforts between internal technical teams and all levels of our Aladdin client base to deliver high quality, outcome driven results. A solid technical background and a strong program management background, with demonstrated experience leading medium to large complex programs of work is required. Experience and confidence communicating program status to all levels of management with the ability to influence, solid judgment, analytical and technical leadership as well as a professional maturity. Willingness to assist in the growth of future program managers is a must, we strive on paying our knowledge forward. This means you are not only able to develop and drive high-level strategic initiatives, but an influencer and a leader, using emotional ownership to dig in and get the job done.

Essential Skills:

  • A minimum of 5 years Technical Program Management experience in an operational or application environment (or equivalent)
  • Strong leadership skills, including demonstrated ability to integrate multiple technical disciplines in achieving a stated objective.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, driven and able to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to resolve conflicting high-priority requirements
  • Outcome driven professional committed to personally managing objectives to completion

Desirable Skills:

  • Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional, cross-organization teams to negotiate and assemble project plans, secure commitments on deliverables, and resolve roadblocks.
  • Passion for understanding ambiguous, complex problems and driving high-quality, innovative, and robust technical solutions
  • Excellent oral and written communication, stakeholder management and executive presentation skills.
  • Experience across multiple program management methodologies (e.g. Agile, Waterfall, etc.)
  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
