The Clinical Operations and Business Analytics (COBA) team is part of the strategic initiative at DFCI to enable the transformation of data into insights and actionable information to the different operational, clinical, and business departments across the institute. The team has access to an extraordinary range of healthcare data including medical and pharmacy claims, enrollment, EMR (Epic), scheduling, billing, referral, and laboratory results. Using this data, the team supports reporting and analytics in areas such as patient care, quality and outcomes, operations, and healthcare administration.

As the DFCI continues to grow, its need for data analytics tools and insights grows as well. Through this strategic investment in analytics the COBA team will continue to empower its stakeholders via data and analytics addressing key clinical, operations, and business questions, all while building a long-lasting data analytics infrastructure across the institute.
As a result of Dana-Farber’s continued expansion, the COBA team is seeking to hire a Senior Business Analyst to join the Clinical business vertical to help contribute to the long-term vision of data analytics at DFCI. The Senior Business Analyst is tasked with empowering stakeholders and addressing key clinical, operational, and business inquiries through the generation of powerful tools and analytics. Simultaneously the Senior Business Analyst will be charged with building the enduring data analytics infrastructure necessary to provide this same support across the institute. The Senior Business Analyst will be expected to function independently within a fast-paced environment, work on several different projects/tasks concurrently, and serve as an advisor to both COBA teammates and external project teams as new projects and ad hoc requests are developed.
