Primary Function / Primary Goals / Objectives:
This position is responsible for global PediaSure strategy and day-to-day activities associated with budgeting, development, implementation and evaluation of marketing programs and materials to support the business objectives for Abbott’s Nutrition International brands. This position will have responsibility to engage key opinion leaders (KOLs) who help strengthen our programs for respective brands. Additionally, this position will contribute to the development and delivery of “best in class” HCP marketing programs, materials and communications for all brand initiatives targeted at HCPs (and sometimes leverageable for consumer marketing).
Key outputs for this position include:
- PediaSure Global Brand Strategy and Portfolio plan
- Innovation: Short, medium and long-term innovation pipeline
- Launches: Marketing toolkit, volumes, supply chain management, region alignment for launch readiness
- KOL/ Congress: Lead the global KOL strategy and Congress ownership
- Claims: Steady cadence of consumer and HCP news to own our platform conversation globally.
Major Responsibilities:
- Support the development of the Global Brand Strategy, founded on up-to-date clinical and market insights, and integrated across regions and with cross-functional team.
- Support internal, cross-functional and cross-region alignment to brand strategy
- Applicants are expected to demonstrate:
- Responsible for implementing HCP marketing programs. Contribute to HCP strategy development to be built into brand plans. In particular, lead and execute digital strategy and program implementation select international congresses
- Manage external partners (KOLs, consultants, agencies, congress organizers) for flawless delivery of agreed-upon output
- Partner with internal partners for best-in-class execution (Affiliate, Area and Central Marketing, various R&D functions, Legal and OEC, Regulatory, etc.)
- Manage HCP marketing budget
- Claims development with Medical, R&D and Regulatory teams.
Education:
- BS / BA in Marketing, Management, or Business required. MBA preferred.
Desired Background:
- Track record of effective brand management, including demonstrated strategic thinking, effective collaboration with cross-functional partners.
- Global or regional experience, and launch experience are a plus.
- Excellent written and oral communication in English.
- 10+ years of progressive career development in Sales, Marketing, Business Operations or Communications
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Strong financial acumen, analytic skills & critical thinking ability
- Prior medical congress management experiences
- Proven ability to translate strategies into tactics
- Proven ability to develop effective annual work plans and develop budgets and to consistently deliver against targets in a timely manner
