Here at CDK Global we have some cutting edge tech along with some legacy and you will be challenged to figure out how to marry them...or better yet, engineer solutions to remove the legacy constraints . There is a definite desire to move to the cloud, so you will assist in making that a seamless process. You will spend your day working closely with the development teams on helping them improve their CI/CD pipelines. Responsibilities/Duties:

• Optimize / expand automated build/release system
• Monitor and administer the automated build and continuous integration process
• Facilitate resolution of build/release failures
• Develop and maintain documentation of the build/release process
• Write / update / manage the deployment scripts
• Work closely with the development team to integrate new deployment processes and strategies to meet our feature requirements
• Audit the metrics to ensure proper software development process is followed

Required Skills:

• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell
• 1-3 years experience in maintaining a production build and continuous integration system
• Experience in designing, building and maintaining an automated build and release environment
• Experience in coordinating releases from development to production
• Strong knowledge of Source Control Management
• Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment
• Experience with IIS
• Well organized, possess outstanding follow-through and attention to detail
• Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills
• Independent, self-motivated

Appreciated Skills

• Previous experience with programming languages
• Experience with SQL
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure)
• Experience with containerization (Kubernetes, Docker)
• Experience with Chef / Ansible
• Experience with DSC
• Experience with monitoring tools (LogicMonitor, New Relic)
