Contribute to the full life cycle of software products. This position requires analysis, design, and documentation of a wide variety of software systems and components. The product owner is responsible for the success of the product on behalf of the company. The product owner understands the user and customer needs and the business goals, and collaborates with the development team and the stakeholders (product management). The product owner must be a team player who relies on close collaboration with the other team members.

Responsibilities:

• Writes user stories based on epics and reviews with development and Product Manager
• Prioritizes and sequences the user stories in the product backlog in relation to the overall Epic prioritization from the Product Manager
• Attends sprint team meetings including stand-ups, retrospectives and demos
• Leads backlog grooming to decompose/estimate stories
• Creates mock-ups and works with UX and Product Manager on design
• Answers questions from developers, clarifies requirements etc.
• Writes user story acceptance criteria alongside Product Managers
• Demonstrates latest iteration for Product Manager and works in collaboration with the Product Manager to delivery successful pilot.
• Represents the voice of the customer in sprint ceremonies
• Supports innovation in team, products and processes
• Engages and aligns with the Product Management & Product Marketing organizations to achieve product delivery plans
• Prioritizes backlog and user stories in conjunction with the planning manager.

Required Experience:

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science or related field is required.
• 4+ years of post-collegiate experience
• Minimum of 2 years in managing large multi-component products
• CRM experience
• TFS, BSTS and/or Jirra experience
• Experience decomposing requirements into software specifications.
• A strong attention to detail, the ability to solve problems, and a passion for excellence are critical.
• Excellent written and English verbal communication skills are necessary.
• Organizational and time management skills.

Education:

• A Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent work experience
