Which team will you be part of?
Finance are the super human brain boxes who deliver top tier, financial business partnering and underpin every part of Cloudreach. They use the newest technologies and hard core experience to keep us ahead of the game in smashing our growth targets year after year.
What will your role be?
We are looking for a Financial reporting lead to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of all financial reporting requirements for the group. This includes monthly management reporting for the business engines and also monthly consolidated/subsidiary financial reporting for the Board/management.
In addition it includes the production of financial information for year end statutory reporting (subsidiary and group) for audit purposes.
Key requirements/accountabilities include:
- Ensuring accurate and timely delivery of all financial/management reporting within the Group
- Effective allocation of resources within the financial reporting team to ensure optimal delivery by the function and to ensure that all deliverables are met/no gaps
- Provide support and guidance to the more junior members of the team
- Ensure consistency of approach in terms of both process adoption and accounting
- Ensure effective and efficient processes, procedures and controls are adopted so accurate and timeous information is delivered within the business
- Performing Entity Controller duties within the team (including performing month end processes, ensuring necessary adjustments are made, required reconciliations are undertaken, and review processes carried out)
What are we looking for?
- Minimum of 6+ years experience operating within a finance environment
- Accountancy qualification status guidance - fully qualified accountant (CA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Management experience - ability to lead teams and develop individuals
- Planning and organising work - manages/prioritises the overall workload within the team to ensure optimal and timeous delivery of team objectives
- Project management - utilise skills to effectively manage project initiatives within the team
- Good stakeholder management skills - ability to interact with all levels of the organisation and with external parties effectively
- Good verbal and written skills including presentation skills
- Multi-tasking - the ability to handle and deliver multiple work streams
- Solid accounting foundation & understanding to support the management requirements of the role
- In depth understanding of statutory and compliance requirements
- Comprehensive understanding of systems and reporting requirements
- Positive work ethic, a strong attention to detail and desire for accuracy, and cares about the outcome.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and is able to work effectively with colleagues, stakeholders and in teams where appropriate to ensure efficient delivery
