LivePerson is looking for a Talented backend developer for its Consumer Business R&D Group (B2C).

The Consumer group develops and manages Online Experts advise platform of over 100,000 experts in hundreds of categories and millions of clients that get live advice.

What Will You Own?

• Produce secure, high traffic & performance Server side code (JAVA Spring boot, NodeJS)
• Work in extremely cutting edge technology and take an important part of the team in a role that will take you to the next level
• Be a part of a winning R&D group who developed an awesome online product which affects thousands of people around the world

What Do You Must Need For Success?

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in developing Java applications including Springs framework
• Strong knowledge of concepts such as CORs (Cross Origins Resources), headers, security, JSON and HTTP/s concepts.
• Familiar with API first design principles and understand development with system performance in mind (e.g. Non Functional Requirements on API performance).
• Technical hands-on experience developing microservices (RESTful APIs) in Spring Boot framework
• Knowledge of architectural principles, coding standards, design patterns, and best practices
• Experience with in-memory distributed cache, Kafka/RabbitMQ, and NoSQL solutions
• Hands-on experience with unit testing frameworks like JUnit or TestNG
• Hands-on experience with MySQL/MS SQL or Oracle database

Advantages

• Experience with Cloud development ( AWS /GCP/Azure) is a huge advantage
• Experience with an online B2C business
• Experience with NodeJS
