Hack Reactor @ Galvanize is a program for gifted students of software engineering. In three months, we transform ambitious amateurs to coding professionals.We are the premier advanced immersive program that trains exceptional full-stack Software Engineers. Students train 11 hours a day, 6 days a week, over 12 weeks in a curriculum focused on computer science fundamentals and JavaScript.Employees enjoy a fun, collegial startup environment genuinely committed to employee health and wellness, and filled with talented, hard-working and fun people. SEI Residents assist in training the brightest students in the coding industry in Javascript fundamentals and engineering best practices via our Hackers in Residence Program. SEI Residents are student-facing members of the team. What You'll Do
Specific job responsibilities may differ from resident to resident, but below are some of the most common:

• Conduct technical interviews for prospective students.
• Provide technical guidance and instruction to students pertaining to Javascript and CS fundamentals.
• Work with incoming students as technical point of contact during their pre course work.
• Support students and alumni in whiteboarding and mock interview practice

• Software engineer experience, particularly regarding Javascript knowledge and emerging technologies
