The Role: We are looking for a Talent Acquisition & People Operations Manager to join our growing People team. Reporting to the VP of People, this individual will be the first representative of HyperScience’s People Team in the Sofia office. You will be responsible for supporting the growth of HyperScience’s Sofia based team. Responsibilities will consist primarily of support for local employees including, but not limited to, building and maintaining a strong local employer brand, acting as a first line for questions and support for local employees, requirements, supporting the culture of the office, creating a consistent experience for employees, and finally hiring, onboarding & supporting our growing team. This role will work closely with the People team in NYC.
Responsibilities
- Help position HyperScience as an employer of choice in order to attract, engage, and hire the best candidates.
- Partner with leaders to establish plans and deliver solutions in order to achieve strategic business initiatives and deliver results.
- Provide leadership to the team and support functions including coaching, mentoring, and professional development for the company.
- Lead the recruiting strategy and full cycle process from sourcing candidates through delivering offer packages.
- Lead all aspects related to on-boarding and off-boarding employees.
- Be primary point-person for all employee queries.
- Manage and promote our employer brand
- Partner with other People team to ensure alignment and to create a strong, cross-functional team to execute on company-wide initiatives.
- Assist with the communication and rollout of updated or new people programs and policies
- General employee relations (conflict management and resolution, coaching, and mentoring)
- Collaborate with other People team members across the globe in a positive and proactive way
- Utilize HRIS system to maintain employee data and produce reports.
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in HR/People/Recruiting, ideally in a global high-growth technology company or startup environment
- BA degree preferred in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related. HR certification is a plus.
- Related experience in the tech/software development industry is a strong plus
- Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including organizational design, employee relations, & performance management
- Deeply caring with strong interpersonal skills and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks in a high activity, dynamic environment
- Ability to collaborate and proactively communicate across locations
- Must be able to interact with employees at all levels
- Customer-focused attitude, with high level of professionalism
- Sound judgement and problem-solving skills
- Entrepreneurial drive; we are a start-up that requires the ability to roll up your sleeves and jump in
- Excellent verbal and written English & Bulgarian language skills
