Manager, Field Marketing Cincinnati, OH Job Summary
The Manager, Field Marketing is responsible for creating and executing a field marketing strategy and building a team to support Paycor’s aggressive growth goals. This candidate will lead a team who works closely with each Paycor field sales team to understand local business needs, trends and market conditions, and create revenue producing local marketing programs. These high-impact campaigns will generate leads to ensure our sales teams will meet aggressive goals. He or she will establish metrics that will be closely measured to determine the success of each initiative.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Create and execute a winning field marketing strategy to reach aggressive company and sales growth goals. Responsibilities include:
- Local Marketing Campaigns – Develop regional campaigns across Paycor’s footprint. These integrated marketing programs include local events, trade shows, digital ad geo-targeting, email, direct mail and partner seminars.
- Geographic Expansion – Develop go to market strategies to drive awareness and leads in new geographic markets
- Sales and Marketing Liaison – Partner with sales leaders and the sales training team to educate new and tenured sellers on leveraging corporate marketing tools, programs, campaigns and brand standards to effectively drive impact and revenue
- Manage an annual program budget while maximizing dollars spent
- Present go to market strategies and results to executive leadership
- Measure and report performance of all regional marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI & KPIs)
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to provide context and messaging around regional marketing programs
- Work closely with Sales VPs, Regional Directors and extended sales teams to understand their priorities and translate into results-oriented marketing plans
- Manage the Field Marketing team, following Paycor’s leader guidelines including but not limited to:
- Regular one-on-ones with direct reports, timely performance reviews and other good management practices
- Hire and staff team appropriately with recommendations for both short and long-term staffing models
- Lead, motivate and encourage direct reports to achieve departmental and organizational goals
Requirements
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. - 4-year degree in business, marketing, or related field
- 8+ years dedicated to inbound and outbound demand generation marketing programs and sales partnership
- Experience managing people and the ability to lead and influence the outcomes of others both directly and indirectly
- Record of thinking outside the box to drive results
- Superior organizational and operational skills and ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working in a SaaS organization preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work effectively with senior leaders of the organization
- Experience with Salesforce.com and Marketo preferred
