Your Role and Responsibilities
IBM is leading the Internet of Things market through the launch of the Watson IoT unit. In addition, with the recent acquisition of Red Hat, IBM will be at the forefront of open source software development, with a broad portfolio of products and services for enterprise markets. Combined with IBM's own Consulting unit (GBS) this collaboration is creating totally new value for our clients. In order to support our team we are looking for a working student (Werkstudent).
The core responsibility will be the support of the WIoT business unit as well as the Red Hat Synergy Office.
This means keeping track of deals, sales opportunities, scorecards and projects, collecting and maintaining our assets, and acting as support for the global & european leadership team. You will work in international teams with colleagues from the US to Asia-Pacific.
In summary, your tasks will include:
- Develop the Watson IoT Business through our GBS channel
- Support the Red Hat Synergy Office Leader by establishing & maintaining scorecards
- Follow up on team meetings and sales leader calls
- Write propositons, push business forward and further tasks
The candidate will also be personally mentored as part of their career development. Candidate should be available on average 20h per week.
This is a position of IBM Munich Center GmbH.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Studied a business/science related degree (end of bachelor, ideally masters degree)
- Aspire a career either a consultant and/or in an IT company
- Ability of controlling and calculation tasks (excel, powerpoint)
- ability to cope with a complex & dynamic environment
- Take initiative & show responsiblity
- fluent in English
