In this role you will:

• Design and develop data API solutions for consumers
• Design and develop Hadoop jobs to support offline data pipeline
• Design and develop services for online data flows
• Drive infrastructure initiatives and implement robust and scalable solutions.
• Work with developers, architects, product managers and other stakeholders, facilitate and accelerate execution.

Your qualifications are:

• Advanced knowledge in object-oriented design and programming concepts
• 4+ years of experience in software development (Java/JVM language)
• Understanding of the challenges in distributed systems
• Ability to learn and adopt new technologies
• Proven experience in leading projects from design to production
• Excellent communication skills
• Team player
• Strong analysis and design skills
• Familiarity with Big Data technologies - must
• Experience with Spark - must
• Experience with Scala - advantage
