Job Description

Vlocity is looking for an experienced marketing leader in Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) to join our fast-growing company. In this role, you will work closely with the WW Marketing team and with the VP of APJ Sales to develop and execute our outbound go-to-market marketing and awareness strategies. The Director of APJ Marketing will play a leading role in defining our local positioning and messaging, executing our go-to-market strategy, driving demand and opportunities for the APJ regions, developing marketing assets, advancing the company's APJ Salesforce joint go-to-market activities, and representing Vlocity in customer, analyst and partner meetings and at industry events.

Responsibilities

Responsible for driving pan-APJ marketing and outbound strategy and programs to increase Vlocity adoption, pipeline, customer success and partner enablement across enterprise accounts in APJ. This position will align closely with Sales leadership to understand business needs and to develop Marketing programs and drive execution accordingly. Responsibilities include developing and executing demand creation and high-touch field marketing programs, with an emphasis on account-based marketing, that generates quality pipeline, moves prospects through the sales cycle, and builds customer intimacy. The role will lead the pipeline generation/maturation for APJ in a fast paced environment and requires experience in demand generation programs, account-based marketing and C-level executive programs. Reporting to the VP of WW Marketing, this individual will collaborate with the Corporate Marketing organization in creating content for successful digital marketing campaigns, manage regional events such as Vlocity's sponsorship presence at the Salesforce conference as well as focused industry CXO roundtables, and will work with the Product organization to communicate the business benefits of each software release, and with the Alliances team to define a scalable enablement strategy for ISV and SI partners and deliver joint selling tools.

Qualifications

  • A stellar academic background and Bachelor degree are required. This role requires a minimum of 10 years field marketing, partner marketing or corporate marketing experience in APJ, and deep familiarity with cloud industry marketing, sales, and service operating environments. Salesforce ecosystem experience a plus
  • You must possess deep familiarity with demand gen, enterprise content development and event marketing processes, and have a track record for developing high-quality marketing campaigns and sales enablement tools
  • This role requires excellent public speaking and writing skills, the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly, and the ability to lead multiple, concurrent marketing and partner enablement projects
  • Prior experience working with Salesforce, in the Salesforce ecosystem and/or CRM preferred
  • Enterprise software background with strong solution selling knowledge a plus
  • Candidates with deep experience in sales and marketing automation systems – especially Salesforce and Pardot, combined with vertical marketing experience (telco/comms, insurance et al) are preferred
