Role Overview:
Outside Sales Specialist – CSG (Client portfolio: Laptops/Desktops/Workstations)
The person in the Business Development role would be a quota carrying salesperson focused on driving Dell’s CSG (Client Solutions Group/ Business Unite) portfolio mainly in Mid-Market, Geo-expansion and Acquisition accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
This person will work with existing Account- Sales teams to identify Acquisition accounts that represent the highest value to Dell specific to the client (laptops/desktops/workstations) portfolio.
Engaging directly & along with Account Executive & partner teams with key customers on Dell Client Portfolio, Client Security, Systems Management, Cloud Client and Mobility point of view.
Guide and coach Account Executive on right product positioning and new product launch /roadmaps
He/She will qualify and drive sales campaigns around a variety of end user compute solutions in a defined territory. The sales specialist will make customer sales calls to surface, qualify, position and close new high value opportunities and owns the sales quota for assigned accounts & territory
Co-ordinate and plan Customer Seminars, Road-Shows in defined accounts w,r,t CSG. Lead events in the region by providing content, customer insights
He/She must possess a competitive knowledge of the enterprise and consumer class client computing solutions and must be able to articulate how the Dell Solutions differ from the leading competitors. Engage on business level discussions around solving end user device and data security management challenges across a customer’s environment. Through this discussion build an overall vision for transforming a customer’s operating environment to meet business requirements. The specialist will conduct high level white board sessions to evaluate and recommend business requirements for a range of client compute models.
Desirable Requirements:
Should be conversant with CSG portfolio – Desktops, Laptops, Workstations and 2-in-1s
Bachelor’s degree is a mandate; post-graduation in Sales & Marketing would be an advantage.
At least 5+ years Hardware Sales/ Solution sales experience including 3-5 years of experience focused on end user computing solutions is necessary.
Knowledge of working with Partners/Commercial channel is desirable
Candidate must be able to work effectively, independently and with existing sales teams.
Candidate should be able to demonstrate a strong written and oral communications skills, exemplary selling skills, and good time management skills.
