The Dell Technologies EMEA Government Affairs team is looking for a highly motivated intern to do a one year paid placement in our Brussels office. The EMEA GA team deals with a range of issues in the fast moving tech sector at both national and EU level. The intern would work on a range of projects ranging from forthcoming EU tech legislation to national policy issues, campaigns to profile the Dell brand and sales enablement

Key Responsibilities

• The intern will support the Government Affairs team in EMEA.
• Monitor EU policy developments and reporting back to other team members and the business as necessary.
• Work on selected projects, research upcoming issues and draft the EMEA input to the weekly GA email
• Track the team’s budget

Essential Requirements

• Ability to summarize complicated dossiers and provide relevant briefing materials to the EMEA GA team members as appropriate.
• Enthusiastic and motivated individual
• Ability to jump into new projects and work flexibly
• Fluency in both written and spoken English plus ability in one other language is desirable.
• University degree education with preferably some work experience in EU affairs or other relevant area
