We welcome you to apply to our Naucalpan Manufacturing Site Quality Leader.

The role is responsible for the Quality Management System and Quality Assurance/Quality Control organizations for Oral Care and Personal Health Care manufacturing operations, along with having co-responsibility for plant related Regulatory Affairs. This role is the technical responsible person registered at the local Board of Health.

The key initial responsibilities are the following:

  • Finish Product disposition as per Regulatory and Quality industry standards
  • Ensure compliance with current national regulation NOM-059-SSA1, Good manufacturing practices of medicines, General Health Law and Regulation of health products.
  • Manage quality consumer complaints, non-conformities, deviations and any kind of product investigation.
  • Drive decision-making based on technical data
  • As head of quality for the site, host board of health inspections from different countries to which the product is exported.
  • Approve technical dossiers for all the products registered at the country.
  • Review and approve new products’ initiative & change management.
  • Lead data integrity program as per the WHO guidelines.
  • Review Quality and Compliance metrics and indicators to prevent and escalate any potential risk to upper management.
  • Facilitate timely communication upon any non-conformity that might affect product availability to ensure business partners are involved to avoid a potential business disruption.
  • Runs Quality improvement activities for the site
  • Maintains the compliance of the products manufactured at the site and secures implementation of standards and validations needs for analytical testing methods and supports the process validation.

Qualifications

Qualifications required & Desired skills for this role:

  • Very strong language skills in Spanish and English, Portuguese is of benefit.
  • Must have degree on the applicable bachelor studies or careers such as: Pharmacists, Chemical Pharmaceutical Biologists, Chemical Pharmaceutical Industrial or any other career related to Pharmacy.
  • Must be a professional with register license “Cédula Profesional”, or bachelor’s degree “title” from the Board of Education of the Government authorizes the degree or title comes from.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience on Quality in the Pharma or Health industry.
  • Pharmaceutical, Cosmetic and Food regulation knowledge of Mexico. North America and LATAM countries desired.
  • Experience in hosting board-of-health inspections, such as Cofepris, INVIMA, ANVISA, DIGEMID, and US FDA.
  • Strong organizational leadership and demonstrated ability to coach and develop others.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills, root cause analysis and CAPA creation.
  • Strong communication skills: able to listen and understand the business needs, analyze the input and communicate the quality goals and expectations while engaging the team. Promptly communicate any potential issues across levels of the organization.
  • Quality control skills: Analytical and Microbiology background, skills in validation of analytical methods
  • People management skills: able to manage and develop an organization of quality professionals, maintaining the team motivated and engaged.
  • Collaboration skills: able to collaborate with peer groups of manufacturing, logistics and business areas, constructively debating different ideas and incorporating feedback from key stakeholders and external partners.
  • Capacity to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects, delivering and supporting the business timely.
