Job Description

  • Acts as the primary Gemalto sales interface for all accounts and distribution partners in his region.
  • Is responsible for achieving the revenue targets in his region and monitors them regularly. In case of deviations he takes in time appropriate counter measures.
  • Promoted and gives regular updates on our product portfolio to customers and distribution partners. Convey our product’s major technical features/ USP’s, in order to win the customer project against competition.
  • Support existing customer projects and identify new projects within market and provide competitive pricing (Salesforce pricing process).
  • Close cooperation with TS (Technical Sales) local team to ensure smooth execution of existing projects and winning new projects.
  • Conducts the monthly forecast planning and annual budget planning for his region, in Salesforce.
  • Develop and implement the strategic account planning in line with the Gemalto sales strategy to identify and win new opportunities for Gemalto’s portfolio within the account.
  • Build and expand his IoT project funnel, direct with existing and new customers as well indirect via distribution partners.
  • Provides regular customer updates and feed into Gemalto organization and derive necessary actions, in alignment with TS.
  • Coordinate Gemalto tenders’ answers.
  • Establish high-level strategic relationships within strategic accounts. Identify the main contacts and decision makers. Facilitate the creation of the relevant relationship for the appropriate Gemalto resource.
  • Collaborates with the Solution Sales Manager to set up project strategies (pricing, risk analysis, go/no go)
  • Follows the project implementations, set up a crisis management plan if necessary
  • Has a good knowledge of the third parties working in his account to create the relevant synergies.
  • Business or engineering school diploma or post graduate degree
  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years experience in Telecom or IT segments, or alternatively in the electronics components distribution market
