Casper is seeking a Workplace Specialist to join the EU growth team based in Berlin. Reporting directly to the General Manager Europe, the Workplace Specialist will support our offices in Berlin and London as well as working closely together with our European Management Team. This is a hands on position in our internal services team, working on varied tasks relating to the day to day functioning of our Berlin headquarters and contributing to the goal of delighting Casper employees and creating an atmosphere in which people thrive.

When you’re not catching zzz’s, this is what you’ll do
- Act as the on-the-ground resource (working closely with our headquarters in New York) to lead office operations in Berlin — including daily office operations, maintaining high standards for office cleanliness, and efficiency of the space
- Serve as the main point of contact for building engineers, security, cleaning staff, and a variety of facilities vendors
- Provide support for sublease tenants on the first floor of our space
- Act as an on the ground resource to the IT team based in New York (e.g. hardware replacement or meeting room equipment changes)
- Support our employee on-boarding experience with office tours, desk and hardware preparation (IT support included)
- Comply with required health and safety policies and procedures operating within the business
- Book meetings and coordinate travel arrangements, manage and reconcile expense reports for our European Management Team
- Prepare correspondence for Vice President and General Manager’s approval, review outgoing material for accuracy

- 3+ years experience in Office Management / Executive Assistant positions
- Has ideally worked in a start-up environment and loves to be part of an international work environment with ambitious goals
- Has exceptional organizational and time management skills, strong attention to detail, and an independent working style
- Has a strong ability to prioritize, reactiveness, and ability to anticipate needs
- Is a creative soul and comes up with dreamy ideas to improve our office culture
- Speaks English and German fluently as we’re part of a global company and headquartered in New York City
