Mission

The Databricks Executive Briefing Program delivers a world-class meeting experience that fosters trusted partnerships between Databricks and customers and prospects through customized, open and impact-based dialogue that drives mutual success. The Executive Briefing and Events Coordinator will play a critical role in bringing the spirit and mission of the Executive Briefing Program to life.

Databricks is looking for an experienced briefing and events coordinator to join our Executive Briefing Team within Customer Success. The ideal candidate cares deeply about the experience of all stakeholders involved - internal executives and SMEs as well as external customers, prospects and partners - in each briefing and has a bias towards action to ensure all parties are well-prepped and well cared for and questions and follow-ups are addressed.

In this highly cross-functional role, you will not only be collaborating with our GTM Teams, Product Team and Facilities Team on Executive Briefings; you will also serve as the Customer Success Team liaison in the planning and execution of customer, company and department events.

Outcomes

  • Monitor, process and fulfill Executive Briefing requests based on business impact, attendee persona, customer/prospect company segmentation, stage in sales/life cycle and areas of interest
  • Partner with Account Team (Sales and CS) to determine meeting goals, strategy and content needs, and secure Databricks executives and SMEs with strongest alignment to participate in highly customized meeting
  • Deliver insightful briefing preparation documents to Databricks executives and SMEs with attendee background; meeting goals, strategy, content and talking points as well as follow-up expectations -- briefing doc development will be in partnership with the Account Team, Marketing and Product and will be leveraging templates
  • Own all participant calendaring for the meeting and the onsite experience, including but not limited to warm-welcoming attendees, room reservation, A/V, video conferencing, food and beverage services, content/demo readiness and post-meeting survey and follow-ups
  • Manage Executive Briefings from request to fulfilment and follow-ups in SFDC and track impact
  • Participate in ongoing review and optimization of the Executive Briefing Program with team members to continue to up-level participant experience and briefing outcomes
  • Join cross-functional teams in the planning and execution of events for customers and for internal-only, including but not limited to representing the interest and expertise of teams across CS; communicating goals, responsibilities and deadlines back to CS Teams and driving assignments to completion

Competencies

  • At least 1 year of experience in an Executive Briefing Program or similar customer-facing role, ideally in a B2B organization
  • Excellent organization, planning and time management skills
  • Ability to compile highly insightful briefing prep docs via collaboration with internal teams and research
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with a keen sense for details and consequences
  • Has experience interacting with and managing the experiences of internal and external executives
  • Ability to quickly analyze a situation and strategically resolve conflicts or improve results
  • Customer- and partner-obsessed mindset with experience addressing the different goals of different participants
  • Has success working in fast-paced and dynamic workplace with many stakeholders
  • Proficient in Salesforce and managing many calendars
  • Positive contributor to team and company culture
  • This position is for our San Francisco office
