Lyft is looking for a motivated and organized Community Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of Lyft, providing support to applicants and current drivers preparing them for success on the road. You will be responsible for providing a world-class customer service experience and will have the opportunity to drive our local operations through growing driver service initiatives and insightful feedback. This position will report into the Community Specialist. Responsibilities:

  • Provide in-person support to current drivers to solve any issues that they may have
  • Guide applicants through the onboarding process
  • Support drivers with your knowledge of Philadelphia and the Lyft platform
  • Prepare new drivers for what to expect and how to be successful on the road
  • Communicate cross-functionally to solve driver’s pain points
  • Uphold the Lyft standard of service while working with all drivers
  • Flexible schedule: this is a Part-time role that will may require nights and weekends

Experience:

  • 1+ years with in-person customer service roles such as retail, technical support or hospitality
  • Impeccable customer service and problem-solving skills
  • High energy with an outgoing, social personality—you love talking to people!
  • You’re all about THE TEAM, ‘cause you know there’s no “I” in TEAM
  • Typically involves standing for most of the workday (although Lyft will make accommodations for qualified individuals with disabilities)
  • Ability to multi-task and switch into different modes during the workday/week
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Proficiency with common technology tools like Slack, Zendesk, Google Suite, etc.
  • Bonus points if you love ride-sharing so much that you're not just a passenger... but a driver too!
  • Bilingual proficiency a huge plus
