    The Data Analytics & Science team drives user growth and retention using product insights and marketing channel optimization for the Small Business Group. We are an exciting, growing and fun team that works with industry- leading analytics tools, techniques and best practices.

    We are seeking a Staff Analyst who will collaborate with our Online Advertising team and drive the profitable growth of our advertising channels using data-driven tactics. As a senior member of the analytics team, the successful candidate would have a strong track record of combining advanced analytics skills and knowledge of marketing channels to optimize our acquisition campaigns.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide thought leadership as the subject matter expert on online advertising analytics; work directly with Paid Search, Affiliate, Broadcast TV and Radio marketing teams, and technical/data specialists to create and execute marketing strategies
    • Conceptualize and lead sophisticated attribution and incrementality studies leveraging large scale (granular) advertising data
    • Provide the leadership team with insights regarding marketing campaign effectiveness by measuring return on ad spend (and other success metrics); lead discussions of metrics derived from statistical analyses
    • Design and execute marketing experiments through A/B testing
    • Communicate findings from analyses in a way that enables business leaders to make better decisions

    Qualifications

    • 5+ years of experience in generating and presenting insights from data; experience in advanced online advertising analytics and optimization is a plus
    • Experience with multi-channel analytics and multi-touch attribution a plus
    • Advanced SQL skills to perform data segmentation and aggregation from scratch; experience working with granular web clickstream data a plus
    • Knowledge of programming languages and stats packages (e.g. python, R); comfortable running multiple regression analyses
    • Knowledge of TV advertising (GRPs, iSpot etc) and online advertising platforms is a plus
    • Outstanding communication skills with the ability to influence decision makers and build consensus with teams
    • Masters degree in a quantitative field
