Patient Scheduling Coordinator- Central Scheduling - Part-Time (24hrs/wk), Rotating Days Mon-Fri - St. Elizabeth's Hospital - Appleton, WI

What You Will Do

As an Associate with Ascension Health Care, you will have the opportunity to schedule medical services for patients with other healthcare providers for assigned patient population.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates scheduling and referrals to other healthcare providers and services.
  • Obtains approval for schedule changes or cancellations as appropriate.
  • Assists with maintenance and updating of provider contact information.
  • Ensures that all medical appointments, special instructions and patient information is entered into electronic medical system.
  • Follows site-specific protocols and maintains up-to-date documentation to ensure compliance.

What You Will Need

Education:

  • High school diploma or GED required

Work Experience:

  • None required.
  • This position requires excellent customer service skills over the phone and computer keyboarding and technology skills.
  • Experience with medical terminology is desired.
