What You Will Do

As a Senior Data Analyst at Saint Thomas you will gather and interpret data from a variety of sources (e.g., the electronic health record, billing claims, cost reports, and patient satisfaction surveys) to help improve the quality of care, lower the cost of care, and enhance the patient experience.

Responsibilities:

• Compiles analytical and statistical reports as needed.
• Formulates, defines and recommends scope and format of reports.
• Oversees provision of ad hoc management reports.
• May provide leadership, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff on how to access reports and interpret the data.
• Identifies data trends and makes recommendations for quality improvement.
• Serves as analytics subject matter expert on committee and initiatives focused on outcomes improvement.

What You Will Need

Education:

• Diploma
  • High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree required

Required Skills:

• Must be proficient in SQL and Tableau

Work Experience:

• 3 years of experience required. 5 years of experience preferred.
• 1 year of leadership or management experience preferred.
