The Customer & Account Management organization plays a critical role at Collins Aerospace both internally and externally. Role Overview

This position is for an Established Project Management professional. Manages the daily coordination of projects including preparing and maintaining budgets and staffing requirements, and is responsible for estimating project costs, gathering and analyzing data, preparing progress reports, coordinating project tasks with various functional organizations, and identifying project problems.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manages projects, responsibilities include preparing and maintaining project plans, budgets, and staffing requirements to ensure that all action item lists are completed and project quality expectations are met.
  • Estimates costs, resources, and time required to complete projects.
  • Gathers and manages data to monitor projects' progress in terms of cost, schedule and technical specifications.
  • Prepares and presents plans and progress reports relating to business aspects of the project(s) to ensure that established targets are met.
  • Identifies and escalates project problems and supports resolutions to ensure the successful completion of projects.
  • Partners with various functional organizations to ensure alignment with overall project objectives.
  • Oversees and manages the life-cycle and operational aspects of projects, and liaises between project management and planning, project team, and line management.
  • Reviews status of projects and budgets, manages schedules and prepares status reports.
  • Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction goals and objectives.
  • Regularly interacts and interfaces with customers.
  • May have business development responsibilities.

Basic Qualifications:

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in the appropriate discipline and 3 years of relevant experience. In the absence of a degree, 7 years of relevant experience is required.
