E-Com Marketing Analyst
About the Team
The Product Analytics team was formed to not only deliver deep web analytics, but also to improve overall site performance and drive incremental business revenue by applying leading web analysis and business insights to enhance the customer experience. The team closely partners with Technology, eCommerce leadership, and other teams to deliver new or enhanced capabilities based on these analyses and insights for an industry leading customer experience.
The members of the team are aligned to a brand and also work on cross brand analysis efforts. The team reports to the Director of Product Analytics and works closely with other teams in technology, including our A/B testing development team, our web analytics developers, and others to collectively advance WSI's overall on-line and off-line capabilities.
The Product Analytics team is highly visible and produces actionable analysis and recommendations that go directly to brand leads and executives. The environment is fast paced, and executive expectations are high.
About the Role
As an Ecommerce Marketing Analyst, you will support analytics reporting and analysis efforts for a x-brand to help connect offsite marketing efforts to onsite behavior. The expectation for the team is to go beyond traditional analytics reporting and provide actionable insights and to facilitate change and drive business outcomes.

* Leverage onsite clickstream data (Adobe Analytics) and offsite marketing data to provide a holistic view of marketing channel performance for eCom leadership. Includes:
* Rich reporting that supports optimization of channel specific KPIs
* Deep dive analysis to explore gaps in customer journey by channel
* Partner with brand email marketing and operational teams to develop new reporting that shows the full customer journey from email send to final purchase.
* Drive partnership with centralized marketing teams, help to improve their usage of Adobe Analytics and ensuring site behavior data is properly leveraged in marketing strategy, performance reporting and analysis.
* In partnership of with Brand Marketing lead, support development of email and organic social strategies, ensuring each program has clearly defined KPIs and with reporting and analysis to help drive optimization towards those KPIs (goals).
* Create, update and distribute eCommerce reports and share insights and communicate findings with the brand team.
* Collaborate with peers to ensure consistency of information and reports, share best practices and develop systems knowledge.
* Evaluate current reporting tools and identify improvements as needed
* Collaborate with the brand & creative team to implement proper tagging across various elements of the website, ensuring accurate reporting on site changes or additions.
* Translate business requests into database queries, using SQL to deliver counts and reports that help others within the company gain a better understanding of our customers
* Analyze multiple data sources and databases to diagnose, troubleshoot, and improve various data issues
* Research and understand data sources, meaning and importance
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

* 2+ year of hands-on business analysis experience, strong understanding of extraction and manipulation of data from large scale databases and systems
* Ability to work effectively with teams in collaborative, cross-functional environment

* Retail industry and digital marketing data experience a plus
