JOB DESCRIPTION
About the Team
You will be part of the Store Development team responsible for designing, building and delivering retail experiences; this includes new construction, remodeling, and repairs and maintenance.
About the Role
Looking for a smart creative person to support Senior Project Manager(s) and Director of Construction with the development of assigned projects from Real Estate site selection through construction completion including estimating, bidding, scheduling, procurement, construction management, punch list, and project close out.
You're excited about this opportunity because you will...
* Review Real Estate site location criteria with deal makers and design team(s), along with Director of Construction.
* Attend and distribute notes for weekly OAC (Owner Architect Contractor) project calls, global OAC calls, and weekly/bi-weekly Operations meeting.
* Participate in weekly Real Estate and Store Development Meetings
* Create Real Estate Committee approval packages.
* Provide cost estimate support for new RE transmittals.
* Establish workletter scope and manage landlord provided items as defined by the lease.
* Create draft schedules for projects and maintain overall schedule tracker for portfolio.
* Review weekly finance updates from external PMs.
* Assist SPM and Director with weekly finance approvals.
* Track punchlist items and coordinate new requests during turnover and post-opening.
* Assist repairs and maintenance manager with warranty issues and major capital expenditure projects.
* Assist Construction Team in managing projects to include:
* Real Estate kick-off calls
* Cost estimates
* Work letter negotiation
* Scheduling
* Construction exhibit/lease review
* Review and assist with the qualification of bids
* Construction site visits to evaluate progress and construction practices
* Bid commitments and PCR's
* R&M hand-off mtgs
* Assist with ad hoc projects as needed.
* Work closely with Construction Coordinator with assistance from Director of Construction.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
We're excited about you because...
* Bachelor's degree preferably in construction management or architecture, or a related field.
* Knowledge of Retail Construction Industry
* Two (2) years construction experience -- need to qualify number of projects per year.
* Ability to travel 10% of the time and work independently.
* Computer knowledge -- Excel, Word-processing. Bonuses (MS Project, Prolog, Procore).
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Excellent organization and communication skills
