Planner/Scheduler in Hospitality Construction
Our California team is growing! If you want to be a part of a successful global organization and have at least 5 years of experience as a scheduler/planner on Hospitality projects, we would like to connect with you. The Senior Project Scheduler is responsible for organizing, implementing, and maintaining schedules to assist the team in ensuring satisfactory realization of project contract requirements as scheduled. We are looking for an analytical person to develop and update teams and systems. Flexibility and an eye for detail is essential to ensuring changes are properly documented and disseminated. An ideal candidate works independently and is a great team player always demonstrating confidence, clear and professional communication, and problem-solving skills. This is a full time Faithful+Gould position with robust benefits that will be located at our premier client site in the Anaheim area. Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and update schedule

  • Continue to evaluate progress of a project, access the performance, and the effects on the schedule.
  • Maintain scheduling management systems.
  • Track and maintain database and status of projects
  • Communicate with project staff to coordinate and schedule work assignments
  • Interact with teams to define and review to determine necessary modifications or resequencing of schedules.
  • Create status reports and keep teams and management informed.
  • Conduct analysis for acceleration options, recommend the best cost options, and lowest risk options.
  • Support and motivate team through lead planning exercises.
  • Work closely with Preconstruction and Operations Team.
  • Requirements

    • 5+ years’ experience in construction management as a scheduler
    • Bachelor’s degree or related field, preferably in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture or a Construction Management Certificate from an accredited university.
    • 5 + years’ experience on large construction projects.
    • Solid computer skills with working knowledge of AutoCAD, Construction Management Software as well as MS Office, including Outlook, Project, Excel and Word.
    • Reads, understands and interprets construction plans, schematics, blueprints, drawings and technical manuals to determine appropriate construction methods.
    • Working knowledge of Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
