Who You'll Work With

You’ll be based in our San Francisco or Silicon Valley office and will be part of the local Human Resources team. You will work collaboratively with various HR teams to deliver exceptional support to our colleagues, while ensuring the firm is compliant with all legal requirements.

What You'll Do

You will provide HR support for firm members in the West Coast Office and work collaboratively with the West Coast and North American HR teams to deliver exceptional support to our colleagues, while ensuring the firm is compliant with all legal requirements.Your responsibilities will include managing, coordinating, and supporting key HR processes and programs, and the ability to work in both Bay Area locations is required. An example of a few of the key responsibilities includes supporting the smooth entry of firm members, including coordinating new hire orientations. You'll also be responsible for collecting and processing relevant paperwork and sharing HR/benefits information with new firm members as well as managing the firm mobility process for inbound and outbound transferees in collaboration with the West Coast Professional Development and firm mobility teams.Additionally, you'll manage all details of “Take Time,” the flex-time program for West Coast Client Service Professionals and you'll address concerns and problem-solve complex HR issues and exceptions to general policies in collaboration with the manager of HR.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in HR or related field
  • 3 - 5 years of general HR experience; professional services firm experience preferred
  • Optimistic, resilient, and flexible
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, judgment, professionalism, maturity, and trustworthiness
  • Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Ability to interact with people in a fair and consistent manner
  • Strong problem solving capability and ability to manage projects independently and handle ambiguity
  • Outstanding organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to build and leverage a strong network across multiple functions
  • Knowledge of U.S. and California employment laws
  • Experience with HRIS systems, Microsoft Office Applications, and solid Excel and PowerPoint skills
