JOB PURPOSE
The Auditor will be responsible for performing audits to verify processes, product, and systems against standards to determine compliance and maintain quality. S/he will work with Operations team members and leaders to ensure best practices and SOPs are effectively implemented and executed. As a member of the StockX quality team, the Auditor must consistently maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail to ensure that our high standards of quality are consistently applied to our products.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform process audits and conformance audits
- Perform inspections from random samples to ensure quality is maintained and flaws are identified
- Perform team member audits to ensure that SOPs are being followed and safety and quality standards are upheld
- Document results and provide reporting/analytics to Quality and Operations leadership
- Communicate recommendations for process and quality improvement to team members and leadership
- Coordinates with Training team to identify further training opportunities for Quality and Operations team
QUALIFICATIONS
- 1-2 years of experience in quality control or a related field
- High School Diploma or GED required
- High degree of patience and comfort performing repetitive tasks requiring a high degree of focus
- Flexibility and willingness to learn
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the Operations team
Working Conditions:
- The Authentication Center is a warehouse environment with working conditions found in a typical warehouse setting. Team members may be regularly exposed to dust, odors, and noise. Required safety equipment includes gloves and protective eyewear. Shirts with sleeves are recommended, though not required.
- Team members in this environment will be required to stand, walk, bend, stoop, turn, and pivot more than 75% of the time.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequently lift up to 50 pounds; on occasion may be required to lift up to 100 pounds
- May be required to operate a pallet jack, baler, compactor, Air Speed machine, and/or tape machine
- Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus
- Good sense of balance
- Good eye-hand-foot coordination
- Ability to assess weights and judge distances and heights
- Ability to work in varying temperatures, depending upon season
