ASO / SEO Marketing Manager

Position Scope

We are looking for an individual to own organic search marketing at Busuu - app store optimisation (ASO) and search engine optimisation (SEO). You will be responsible for owning and improving these streams with a view to driving higher organic conversion and ultimately revenue. As you progress, you’ll look to track and grow organic traffic’s share of company revenue as part of a diverse marketing mix.

This role reports into the head of acquisition marketing at Busuu, but you’ll also work very closely with the content, PR and acquisition teams to ensure SEO & ASO works in tandem with all of our marketing activity.

What you will do:

• Plan and implement the localisation of app store assets (metadata, descriptions, titles, graphics and screenshots) for all our markets
• Establish and implement ASO best practices, with a view to increasing app rankings in search results
• Conceptualize, build and roll out tests for optimising conversion rates for app downloads
• Monitoring, tracking and report app store rankings, aswell as market and competitor analysis
• Synchronize upon releases with different teams within our company to ensure state of the art rollouts
• Work closely with the content & PPC marketing teams to ensure that all content on the Busuu website and blog is optimised towards driving more relevant traffic.
• Keyword tracking across all search platforms

What we are looking for from the candidate:

• A proven record of ASO Optimisation experience
• Knowledge of and hands on experience with iTunes connect and Google Play Console
• Understanding of the main analytical tools in the field (e.g. App Annie, Priority data, Apptweak, Appfollow, Sensor Tower)
• Demonstrable SEO knowledge and experience
• Proven experience working with content management (CMS) systems
• Strong planning and project management skills
• Native fluency in English and, ideally, proficiency in at least one other language.
• Excellent written skills, with the ability to switch styles and approaches depending on the objectives, audience and the medium.
