What you'll do:

Jump Trading are looking to expand its sports trading platform, Working closely with the existing team you will have experience within the sports trading / betting field and be able to work collaboratively with quant researchers and technologists to create a world class platform.

• Strong performance in a BSc, MSc, PHD in a Mathematical / Statistical based subject.
• Experience developing trading strategies within Sports Betting, particurarly soccer.
• Deep knowledge in at least one area of maths, statistics or machine learning that is applicable to sports betting highly desirable.
• Broad experience in a range of statistical and machine learning theory and appplication.
• Experience with Bayesian Inference, Modelling and related technologies (e.g. MCMC, HMC).
• Experience with numerical methods, convex and non convex optimisation desirable.
• Programming experience with at least two of Python, C++ and R.High impact experience in a sports betting environment building statistical models with capital at risk.
• Flexibility and willingness to help support and provide oversight of production trading systems.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work in a team environment
