We’re looking for a Product Owner to join FanDuel’s Sportsbook domain, in Scotland, where our goal is to deliver new and exciting features, ensuring we excite our customers using America’s # 1 sports betting app.

What you’ll do:

The Product Owner plays a key role in our high performance product delivery teams, collaborating with colleagues in the Product and Software Engineering functions and working with stakeholders from across the global FanDuel business, including our Commercial, Marketing and UX & Design teams, in a fast paced sports tech environment. You will be responsible for eliciting requirements in the form of user stories and acceptance criteria whilst prioritising product backlogs with the aim of streamlining the execution of program priorities and maintaining conceptual and technical integrity of the features or components.

Additionally;

  • Establish and maintain domain expertise on the product
  • Bring fresh ideas to the table when working to solve business problems, using your commercial understanding to generate innovative solutions
  • Be an enabling force driving through effective and sustainable change guiding the business through the journey
  • Facilitate the smooth flow of value delivery, guiding partners throughout the SDLC ensuring high quality change is delivered
  • Contribute toward the internal FanDuel PO community by promoting industry best practice and fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and cross-skilling

What you’ll bring:

Our next teammate might be a skilled Business Analyst already working in an agile environment, or a Product Owner comfortable getting into the details of technical delivery. It would be a bonus if you have experience of working on customer facing products and channels alongside a passion for sports and the gaming industry.

  • Experience of Agile delivery processes used in software or web-based products and an ability to promote this culture
  • Experience conducting stakeholder interviews and facilitating stakeholder workshops
  • Ability to define and refine user stories, acceptance criteria, and definition of done processes
  • Ability to constructively challenge and question as well as actively listen
  • Is used to working in a fast-paced environment helping to provide clarity to delivery teams when priorities change
