We are currently seeking a Business Development Manager to support our growing business.

Position Objective:

Pall [ Link Removed ] have played key development and manufacturing roles in life saving drugs that range from Ebola vaccines to cancer-curing monoclonal antibodies. Cutting-edge research demands high quality products that combine industry-leading effectiveness with high performance to increase profitability without sacrificing safety. Serving a wide range of markets, Pall Biotech provides product and services to biotech manufacturers of life saving equipment. These products are part of a wide portfolio designed to make the world a better place.

The role’s focus is to win specifications in key process steps in the customers’ antibody, recombinant protein, gene therapy and vaccines drug pipelines. This is accomplished by proactively identifying and qualifying specification opportunities, positioning Pall technologies and capabilities, and directing technical specialist for assigned territory. You will manage both existing customer accounts and source new ones.

We are happy to consider candidates who are based in France or Spain to cover the territory, when you are not in front of customers then you will work from a remote home office.

Role and Duties:

  • Develop new Biotech customers within assigned territory by actively prospecting and qualifying specification opportunities and positioning Pall technologies and capabilities at customers developing antibody, recombinant proteins, gene therapy and vaccines.
  • In conjunction with marketing identify and develop new Biotech opportunities (from pipeline/drug tracking information or company start up level).
  • Work in close relationship with sales support functions (specialists) to coordinate activities, account hand over when appropriate and maximize sales.
  • Work with marketing to track and report progress metrics for penetration of drug pipeline
  • Establish good relationships with customers at various process development points in assigned territory
  • Monitor and report progress towards achieving projection ( specification wins, sales)
Job Requirements
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications/ Experience:

  • Degree (or equivalent), BS /BA in science/engineering ( Bio)

  • Relevant experience preferably in Biotech industry as a sales representative
  • Experience in Downstream processing
  • Current full driving license and passport
  • Willing to travel (> 60% )
  • Fluent in French, English and a big plus would be Spanish although this isnt essential
