About this opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager – Contract in our Raleigh, NC location to lead all aspects of IT Digital technology projects for the Americas region. You will be working closely with team members to ensure that all project requirements are on track. Responsibilities include submitting project deliverables, preparing status reports, and establishing effective project communication plans.

For this position, we expect you to be a tech-savvy professional with an in-depth understanding of how technology helps us achieve our business goals. You should be methodical and have excellent time management skills.

In this role, you will...

• Coordinate with cross discipline team members including Business, Information Technology, Research & Development, Finance and Operations to make sure that everything is on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
• Meet with project team members to identify and resolve issues, identifying and managing risks.
• Submit project deliverables and ensuring that they adhere to quality standards.
• Prepare status reports by gathering, analyzing and summarizing relevant information.
• Establish effective project communication plans and ensure their execution.
• Facilitate change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget.
• Coordinate the development of commercialization materials to enable successful implementation and turnover of the process or system to internal and external customers.
• Obtain customer acceptance of project deliverables.
• Manage customer satisfaction within project transition period.
• Conduct post project evaluation and identifying successful and unsuccessful project elements.

• Proven experience in Project Management working with cross-functional teams/individuals on large scale global projects.
• Recognized as a leader, able to inspire and motivate others through conviction, vision, and the ability to formulate and articulate direction.
• Strong understanding of the business including sales, marketing, service, innovation, product development, operations functions and business goals, lead to meet those goals according to the defined roadmap.
• Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies including Agile/Scrum.
• A process-oriented individual, who has the flexibility to thrive in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, dynamic organization.
• Excellent presentation skills, writing technical documentation, strong oral communication and collaborative teamwork

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Computer Science or a related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 8+ years experience as a Senior Project Manager performing large cross-functional global digital technology projects.
• Strong experience using Agile Software Development Methodology
• Strong knowledge of digital technology, Salesforce and ERP systems.
• Scrum Master or Product Owner certification a plus.
• Hands on experience with project management software like Planview, Master Control, TaskRay.
• PMP certification is a plus.
• ITIL certification is a plus.
