Technical Program Manager, Security Education

Job Description

We’re looking for a Security Technical Program Manager to join Snap Inc! Working from our Los Angeles, CA headquarters, you will be responsible for partnering with Snap’s security and privacy team as well as the rest of the Engineering organization to mature our security and privacy education programs. In this role, you will coordinate between many stakeholders, set expectations for deliverables, keep track of parallel efforts, identify key roadblocks, and work with team to keep things moving forward. The most exciting part of this role will be building the education strategy, content, curriculum, execution and delivery, and creating security and privacy centric events.

What you'll do:

• Define the security and privacy education strategy for the company
• Drive the execution of and ongoing education operations across the company
• Drive positive security and privacy centric engineering outcomes across the company in a measurable and quantifiable manner
• Evangelize and drive the adoption of the Information Security teams programs and goals across the organization
• Develop metrics to measure program success and operational effectiveness
• Drive phishing engagements and other behavior based testing
• Develop security and privacy content strategy including a themed internal Discover channel

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of experience in security advisory or education space, technical program management or security solution delivery
• Experience in at least two of the following disciplines: vulnerability management, application security, infrastructure security, network security, or security risk management, security education, compliance
  

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree in computer science or a related technical field
• Experience building and delivering security educational programs
• Experience influencing teams and other cross-functional stakeholders to drive security programs
• A comprehensive understanding of building secure and privacy centric programs for large-scale Cloud infrastructure dependent companies
• Experience with threat modeling, application and OS hardening, vulnerability management, red teaming, bug bounty programs, education curriculum development
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with mastery in the ability to tailor the message to the audience
• Experience with Information Security in a startup environment
