The Payments, Virtual Solutions, and Innovation (PVSI) team includes Operations, Consumer Credit Card, Retail Services, Consumer Deposits, the Innovation Group, Treasury Management, Merchant Services, Marketing and Wells Fargo Virtual Channels and the professional services teams that partner with these businesses. PVSI's focus is on delivering the next generation of payments and deposit capabilities and advancing our digital and online offerings to design new customer experiences and products. The Innovation Group, a part of PVSI, is dedicated to serving as the catalyst for transformational change across the company, focusing on fostering the growth of big ideas that will efficiently influence business models, processes, and programs in order to meet evolving customer needs. The team actively partners across the enterprise with business lines, data and analytics, operations, and marketing to provide resources, support, and visibility that will help transform business models, products, and services.

The Business Initiatives Consultant 2 will support the Artificial Intelligence Enterprise Solutions team in Enterprise Innovation. This individual will support the Program Manager to guide, execute and continuously improve all aspects of running an effective and efficient delivery of the business support program including portfolio management tools, process and governance activities and third party management.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Build, organize, and manage an ongoing line of business third party program that adheres to all regulatory, corporate, and PVSI specific third party expectations
  • Build, organize, and manage an ongoing line of business process and governance program that adheres to all regulatory, corporate, and PVSI specific risk expectations
  • Partner with a vast array of stakeholders both internal and external to the Enterprise Innovation Program to accomplish stated objectives
  • Centralize program communications using multiple mediums for various levels of the organization
  • Manage communication cadence, ensuring consistent and smooth delivery of Initiatives
  • Manage stakeholder reporting and support strategic planning processes as required / requested
  • Ensure adherence to required policies and procedures
  • Execution of other program requests and projects as requested

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: project management, implementation, or strategic planning


Desired Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
  • Experience leading effective collaboration across a team of project managers focusing on different functional areas for the same project
  • Knowledge and understanding of project coordination: performance report development, management dashboards, and key metrics
  • Experience navigating through ambiguity


Other Desired Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: project management, program management, process management, product management, portfolio management
  • 4+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: product development, implementation, reporting, process design, process documentation, process improvement
  • 4+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: supply chain, strategic planning, sourcing, vendor management, relationship management
  • Third party management program experience
  • Business process governance and control experience
  • Experience supporting large cross functional and complex horizontal programs
  • Advanced experience with Archer, Jira and/or Atlassian tools
  • Experience with creation of monthly status reporting for a program including identifying the content
  • Advanced experience with creating dynamic presentations that are presented to all levels of management
  • Experience defining meeting objectives, creating agendas and executing highly productive meetings
  • Advanced experience using Microsoft Project, Visio, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and SharePoint
  • Experience defining and implementing project or program performance metrics and reporting
  • Strong influence, organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Meeting facilitation experience in leading discussions that result in consensus and commitment

Job Expectations

  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
