Cybersecurity & Technology Controls organization (CTC) within JPMorgan Chase & Co. operates as part of Global Technology directly accountable to the CIO of the firm and providing cybersecurity services to all lines of business (LOB) across JPMC. The CTC organization’s objective is to ensure that JPMC is able to effectively detect, prevent and respond to cyber threats against our technology & business infrastructure

• This position requires the ability to communicate effectively as you will work closely with other groups both within and outside of CTC to coordinate design, development, and testing efforts of your assigned application components to ensure the successful delivery of the project.
• You will be responsible for ensuring the successful design, development, testing, and implementation of application components from a project level. You will utilize mature programming methodologies and languages and adhere to coding standards, procedures, and techniques.
• You will use current coding methodologies to develop and support CTC functionality and contribute to technical code documentation.
• You will attend technology design meetings and recommend system and data improvements to designers while adhering to all IT control policies.
• You will identify and troubleshoot application code-related issues to provide superior feedback for approved user documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical or quantitative field with preferred focus on Information Systems
• 8+ years of experience with ETL Technologies
• 8+ years of experience working on writing Pub - Sub APIs, developing Kafka Streams, Kafka connect, KSQL or any equivalent Message bus technologies like Rabbit MQ
• 5+ years of experience writing PL/SQL or SQL scripts, including stored procedures, triggers, functions, and tables
• Strong development experience implementing and supporting efficient reliable data pipelines to move data from a wide variety of data sources
• Strong communication skills, experience in Agile methodologies, ETL skills, Data movement skills, Data processing skills.
• Able to build end-applications using a correct choice of Data Components, Pub/Sub and Open Source components like Mongo DB, Cassandra, Kafka, etc.
• Implement and support efficient reliable data pipelines to move data from a wide variety of data sources especially into and out of Data warehouses
• Working experience in one of RDBMS data stores like Oracle, MySQL, Postgre SQL etc. and one of NoSQL data stores like HBase, Mongo, Cassandra etc.
• Implement data aggregation, cleansing and transformation layers
  Ability to build Data Ingestion frameworks taking into account access patterns, scalability, response time and availability
• Experience with serialization such as JSON and/or BSON.

• Must possess the ability to work and research/resolve issues independently while sharing best practices and knowledge with colleagues and team members
• Must be able to communicate complex issues in a crisp and concise fashion to multiple levels of management
